“Krafty” Plans for $10,000 Grant!

Jim Admire of Kraft Foods, Inc. presented Good Samaritans Board President Jim Pickrell with a check for $10,000.00 This grant will be used to fund a nutrition program targeting youth with the probability of becoming obese due to poor and unhealthy eating habits. The program, which kicks off in October, will be a combined effort by the Good Samaritans' staff and volunteers, the North Texas Food Bank, local merchants, and civil servants.
